\nBackground noise may emerge during video conferences<\/a> in TrueConf for Windows<\/a> client application. This problem may have multiple causes and very often it occurs due to incorrect system settings. Here, we will explain how to fix this issue.\n<\/p>\n

Noise suppression<\/h2>\n

\nTrueConf for Windows client application provides built-in noise suppression which is based on AI algorithms. This feature helps to make sure that all external noises are removed from the audio stream.\n<\/p>\n

To activate this feature:<\/p>\n

  1. Open the application settings<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Go to the Audio and video \u2192 Audio<\/b><\/a> section.<\/li>\n
  3. Check the Noise suppression<\/b> box in the opened menu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \n Please note that the activation of this feature will increase the CPU load on some less powerful PCs.\n<\/div>\n

    OS settings<\/h2>\n

    \nIf the built-in noise suppression does not help you, the problem is probably caused by incorrect OS settings. To fix this issue, take these steps:\n<\/p>\n

    Step 1<\/b>. Click the Start<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

    Step 2<\/b>. Choose Parameters \u2192 System \u2192 Sound.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Step 3<\/b>. Click Sound Control panel<\/strong> in Additional Settings<\/strong> to open the control panel for playback and recording devices.<\/p>\n

    Step 4<\/b>. Choose your playback device on the Playback <\/strong>tab and press Properties<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Step 5<\/b>. Check Disable all enhancements<\/strong> box on the Enhancements<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n
