In this case, you won\u2019t need to interrupt communication with other users. Please note that if you choose <strong>Window<\/strong> to display a separate application window, audio sharing will be unavailable.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\">Select the desired screen or browser tab from the list.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\">Check the <strong>Share system audio<\/strong> box to share the audio stream in addition to the video stream.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\">Click <strong>Share<\/strong> to start sharing audio and content.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please note that the audio from all currently running applications is shared if you choose the <b>Entire Screen<\/b> option.<\/p>\n<div class=\"marked_note marked_note--warning\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Use your browser to participate in meetings only if there is a need to share audio along with content. The web application features are limited in comparison with TrueConf client apps (e.g., team messaging features such as group chats, file transfer, replies, mentions, etc.).<\/div>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Video and audio transmission during content sharing in TrueConf client app<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To share audio content in the <a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.ru\/downloads\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TrueConf client application<\/a>, you will need to install additional software to set up a virtual microphone in the system.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please note that users will be able to hear sounds from all the applications launched by the presenter when a virtual microphone is on, including system sounds. Therefore, it may be better to disable them in the <strong>Start Menu \u2192 Settings \u2192 System \u2192 Sound \u2192 Sound Control Panel<\/strong> (<strong>Related Settings<\/strong> section) menu. You can also select the <strong>No Sounds<\/strong> option from the <strong>Sound Scheme<\/strong> list on the <strong>Sounds<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Step 1: Installing VB-Audio Software<\/h3>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Download an archived VB-Cable driver package from the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vb-audio.com\/Cable\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> VB-Audio official website<\/a> and\u00a0undo your <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.internxt.com\/zip-files-explained\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">created zip files<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Select a distribution kit depending on your operating system type and install it as an administrator.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Reboot the computer so that the OS recognizes the new virtual devices correctly.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Download and install <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vb-audio.com\/Voicemeeter\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VB-Audio Voicemeeter<\/a> software for controlling audio streams.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Restart your PC.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"marked_note\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you want Voicemeeter to start automatically at the system startup and minimize the program to tray when closing, go to the program menu in the upper right corner and enable the <strong>Run on Windows Startup<\/strong> and <strong>System Tray<\/strong> checkboxes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Step 2: Setting up virtual audio devices<\/h3>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Go to <strong>Start Menu \u2192 Settings \u2192 System \u2192 Sound \u2192 Sound Control Panel<\/strong> (<strong>Related Settings<\/strong> section).<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">On the <strong>Playback<\/strong> tab, select <strong>VoiceMeeter Input<\/strong> and click the <strong>Set Default<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/voicemeeter-default-en.png\" data-rel=\"lightbox-gallery-YeZ7KoJp\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-16732 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/voicemeeter-default-en.png\" alt=\"How to Share Audio During Meetings\" width=\"400\" height=\"455\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trueconf.com/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/voicemeeter-default-en.png 400w, https:\/\/trueconf.com/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/voicemeeter-default-en-160x182.png 160w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li value=\"3\" aria-level=\"1\">On the <strong>Recording<\/strong> tab, select <strong>VoiceMeeter Output (VB-Audio VoiceMeeter\u00a0 VAIO) <\/strong>and click the <strong>Set Default<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Step 3. Configuring audio mixing<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Voicemeeter is an audio mixing software. Every input channel has two buses (directions) you can channel the sound on: <strong>A <\/strong>is an output into a hardware playback device, <strong>B<\/strong> is an output into a virtual output channel. In this case, your operating system and running applications sounds are sent into the <strong>Virtual input <\/strong>channel. Hence, you can control audio mixing in different directions by selecting the bus.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Launch Voicemeeter<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Select your microphone in the first <strong>Hardware input <\/strong>section and disable the output on the bus <strong>A<\/strong>. Now, the microphone sound will be sent only to the <strong>VoiceMeeter Output<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"marked_note marked_note--warning\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We suggest using the WDM driver for better audio quality and small delays. On the <strong>General <\/strong>tab, select <strong>Cable Input <\/strong>as a playback device and\u00a0 <strong>VoiceMeeter Output<\/strong> as a recording device.
