Today mobile group conferences are available globally free of charge. Any user can download a video conferencing application and stay in touch with the world.
For example, you can start group video conferences on your iPhone or iPad with TrueConf application. This article will explain how to do it.

Video call
You can learn how to install the application, log into it and make video calls in our article on how to make video calls from iPhone to Android. You can take the same steps for calls to other iOS devices, if the user you are calling also has TrueConf for iOS application installed.
How to create a conference?
- Open your application and press Conference at the bottom of the screen.
- Enter your conference topic (optional).
- Select Symmetric conferencing mode. You can learn more about other conferencing modes in our article.
- Press Create. Now you can see the conference window.
To add the first participant to the conference, find their name in the address book and call them. You can add other participants in the same way.
Role-based conferences
Follow the guide described in the section above and select Role mode while creating the conference.
As a host you can invite any participants to take the podium and become a speaker upon the conference has been launched. To do this press the Participants button in the conference manager.

Audio remark
If you are not on the podium but you want to make an audio remark, press the speaking person icon and hold it while making the remark.
Become a speaker
Open the conference manager and press Not casting. When the moderator grants you podium access you will become a speaker. To leave the podium, press On podium.
