Address book

Address book stores your contact list, contacts of your corporate group, and provides you with quick access to numerous useful features.

Using Address book you can make a video call, share text messages, join a video conference, block or delete user, look through the user’s contact information and chat history.

All contacts in Address book can be divided into groups. If necessary, one user can belong to several groups. This feature is especially useful when you need to invite to the conference all members of the selected group.

You can assign to groups of users different rights that delimit their options of systems usage. You can read more about this feature on the page "Groups of users and their rights".

During a video conference you can see an additional tab in the Address book that displays all conference participants.

When participating in a video conference TrueConf Server users can take advantage of collaboration tools from the Status tab.

With the help of Status tools conference participants can share their attitude on the seminar issues, evaluate speaker's sense of humor, or indicate if there are available for communication. Hand tool allows a conference participant attract the speaker's or host's attention.

Using Address book you can rename contacts, replacing the user's display name with his/her Name and Surname and vice versa, add necessary information, e.g. the user's post. To the left of the user name you can see a round color status that indicates the availability of other users.
