ZoomCall 5.5.6 released

Our company announced a release of new version of its video conferencing service VideoPort Online client application ZoomCall 5.5.6. Desktop sharing performance and video meetings mode were improved.

By the numerous requests of users desktop sharing feature speed was significantly improved in all types of video conferences. We have reengineered the technical layer of the desktop sharing feature which allowed us to increase its speed and performance. From now on users will share/broadcast their desktops in video conferences by 30% faster.

A new ability in a video meeting mode has been introduced; now owner can drop any speaker from the tribune by force. Nit could be useful to free the conference from dishonest speakers who don’t follow the rules. To do that you have to make a right click in the address book over such user and select appropriate action.

Among other changes are:

• conflicts were resolved with most popular free anti-virus software;
• sensitivity was boosted for quite microphones;
• accurate bandwidth selection in network settins;
• auto join in group video conferences when "Auto reply" check box is checked;
• some issues with proxies in one-to-one video calls were resolved;
• sound troubles were fixed on Windows XP machines with DirectX 10.
