TrueConf Application for Linux Updated to Version 1.0.5

TrueConf linux 1.0.5We are proud to introduce you an updated version of TrueConf client application for Linux-based operating systems. TrueConf for Linux 1.0.5 is now compatible with such distributions as CentOS, Fedora, and openSUSE. We have also improved the abilities of our application: supported fully functional Address Book, detailed user info viewing, Desktop Sharing feature, improved instant messaging capabilities, and made connected device management easier.

Now you can create symmetric and asymmetric conferences for up to 25 participants simultaneously in TrueConf for Linux!

New features in TrueConf Linux 1.0.5:

  • Support of such Linux distributions as CentOS, Fedora, and openSUSE.
  • Fully-functional Address Book. User profile now includes more detailed information. Users will find placing calls, using instant messaging, and accessing profiles to be easier and more comfortable.
  • User profile now includes TrueConf ID, display name, actual name, and organization.
  • Supported saving chat and call history. Users will receive notifications about incoming messages.
  • Call History feature is now fully supported. Users can now view contact info and call details – date, time, and conference mode.
  • Group chat logs from every conference are saved in a separate history.
  • Users may broadcast their desktop or separate window to other participants using Desktop Sharing tool instead of their camera image during calls and video conferences.
  • The number of possible simultaneous participants for symmetric and asymmetric conferences has been increased from 16 to 25.
  • It is now possible to adjust microphone volume during calls/conferences.
  • Devices can be selected from control panel by right-clicking on microphone, speaker or camera icons.
  • Now administrators may test the communication channel – added connection test between endpoint and server.

Changes in TrueConf Linux 1.0.5:

  • Improved interface.
  • New tabs in the Address Book. A button for creating a group conference is now in a separate window.
  • Added audio messages in Role-based conference mode.
  • Optimized performance of dialogue windows.
  • Increased application performance.

Fixes in TrueConf Linux 1.0.5:

  • Improved chat performance: fixed text input, included showing last messages on application start.
  • Fixed username display for incoming calls and guest WebRTC users.
  • Group chat is not available after a user leaves the conference, it activates again if user connects to the conference.
  • Fixed performance in case of multiple incoming calls and conference invitations.
  • Improved application performance in case of connection failure.
