The TrueConf team has taken another step forward in the development of solutions for videoconferencing. We have developed the first free-of-charge software solution for conference rooms – TrueConf Terminal 2.0 beta. It is already available for download:

The Next Generation of Conference Rooms
TrueConf Terminal 2.0 is a state-of-the-art solution for conference rooms, conference halls and executive workplaces. It is a constantly-updated software package which replaces clumsy, expensive legacy hardware systems.
The second version of TrueConf Terminal is ready to operate with the on premises UC solution TrueConf Server, and can also be connected to the TrueConf Online hosted service. If you are a Server customer, you will be able to call to any H.323/SIP compatible device. If you’re a TrueConf Cloud customer, your investments in videoconferencing infrastructure will be minimal.
Browser App for Control
You can choose any device to manage TrueConf Terminal 2.0, such as a remote PC or tablet in a conference room. The only one prerequisite is the availability of an Internet browser.
To manage Terminal, you can make all necessary actions via a web interface. It fully simulates the appearance of the TrueConf client application. Thanks to this, it can be used immediately without additional training.
Licensing
The software version of TrueConf Terminal Free is free-of-charge and valid for a lifetime. You don’t have to pay for it and it works perfectly with TrueConf Server Free.
The terminal also has a more powerful paid version: TrueConf Terminal Pro with additional corporate functionality. It requires licensing and provides the following performance capabilities:
- Differentiation of access rights for terminal administrator and users.
- Absence of the “TrueConf Terminal Free” watermark above video layout.
- The ability to connect several screens at the same time.
We are going to add more features to Pro version but in the meantime we suggest testing it.
